United at a Glance – April 2024

D.C. United turn the page to April and will host two home matches at Audi Field against Orlando City FC on Cherry Blossom Night presented by WAEPA, followed by a clash with the Seattle Sounders FC on Sustainability Night presented by Audi. The club will look to maintain their early season form and continue to climb the rankings in the Eastern Conference.

In addition to D.C. United, the Washington Spirit will continue their NWSL campaign, and the D.C. Defenders were back in action, hosting their UFL home opener against the Houston Roughnecks on Sunday, April 7. Sustainability Night presented by Audi

  • D.C. United and Audi are proud to host the fourth annual Sustainability Match at Audi Field to support and encourage environmentally friendly practices and more sustainable lifestyles. SUNDAY, APRIL 7 – DC DEFENDERS vs. HOUSTON ROUGHNECKS (4:00 PM)

  • The DC Defenders are back in action and kicked off their 2024 UFL campaign against the Houston Roughnecks at Audi Field. The merger of the XFL and USFL resulted in the creation of the United Football League (UFL), introducing a new era of spring football. D.C. United are proud to welcome Dippin’ Dots and Guilford Hall Brewery to the Black-and-Red Family.

Dippin’ Dots

  • Dippin’ Dots, a world-renowned ice cream brand with over 100 locations in the United States, has been selling its delicious, creative, and fun desserts since 1988. Dippin’ Dots iconic beaded ice cream treats, with flavors such as Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cool Mint Crunch, and Cotton Candy, will be available for purchase at Audi Field starting with the 2024 MLS season. Guilford Hall Brewery

  • Guilford Hall Brewery, a Baltimore-based brewery revitalized in an 1898 Crown Cork & Seal factory, will have its lineup of handcrafted ales and lagers at various concession locations at Audi Field for 2024. MONDAY, APRIL 1 - WHITE HOUSE EASTER EGG ROLL

  • D.C. United are proud to have participated in the annual White House Easter Egg Roll again this year. Players and front office staff led soccer programming for kids and families focused on passing, dribbling, kicking, and shooting drills. For more information, click here.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17 - UNITED WE SERVE

  • United We Serve is D.C. United’s signature volunteer program where players, partners, front office staff and fans unite to provide hands-on support for community-based projects and organizations. This month, D.C United volunteers will team up with Leveling the Playing Field to provide access to sporting equipment to under-resourced communities across the DMV. WOMEN UNITED AT HOUSE OF RUTH

  • D.C. United female-identifying staff and community partners will lead workshops focused on career readiness topics that educate and prepare the women at House of Ruth to enter and develop within the workforce. House of Ruth, empowers women, children, and families to rebuild their lives and heal from trauma, abuse, and homelessness. For more information, click here.

  • The D.C. United Foundation uses the power of soccer to level the playing field for communities in the DMV. Because the playing field is not always even, we aim to provide youth in the DMV the tools necessary to soar on and off the pitch and to provide more opportunities for everyone. FANDUEL SPORTSBOOK

  • At Audi Field’s FanDuel Sportsbook, you can place bets on your favorite teams and have a winning experience with a full-service sportsbook. Located just inside Gate A on the north side of the stadium, FanDuel Sportsbook is open Monday – Friday (1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) and Saturday – Sunday (10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.).
