Top-ranked D.C. United travel to Toyota Park in Chicago to face the Fire, who currently sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.  Game notes for United's opponent to look out for when the Black-and-Red play tonight at 8:30 PM.   • Chicago fire have not won an MLS match in June, losing three straight.
  • The Fire defeated Louisville City FC in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and will play the Charlotte Independence at home on June 30.
  • David Accam, one of Chicago's offseason Designated Player acquisitions, has been a bright spot for the team, scoring four goals; he is doubtful for tonight's game due to a hamstring injury
  • Shaun Maloney, a Scottish international, is ruled out for several weeks due to a back injury suffered after stint with national team
  • Chris Rolfe is returning to Chicago for the first time since his time as a Fire player, where he made 178 regular season appearances for the club that drafted him in 2005.  
  • Fire player Mike Magee is scheduled to make his return to the 18-man roster tonight after a lengthy abscence

  • The two clubs have played 50 times in the regular season, with United winning 19 times, losing 18 and drawing 13.
  • United has not won at Chicago since August 29, 2009, when they defeated the Fire 1-0.
  • Both teams played at RFK Stadium on June 3, when D.C. won 3-1.  Jairo Arrieta scored twice and Conor Doyle added a third after Accam scored in the 28th minute to put the Fire ahead 1-0.
  • The teams will meet one more time this season, on October 18 at RFK Stadium.  The match is United's last home game of the regular season.
