First Game at RFK | From the Vault

The latest episode from the From the Vault series examines the first ever game at RFK Stadium on April 20th, 1996.  The Black-and-Red hosted the LA Galaxy for the home opener of their inaugural campaign.  Raúl Díaz Arce scored the first ever goal at the historic stadium with a stunning long-range volley off an assist from Richie Williams.  The match featured club legends such as Marco Etcheverry, Eddie Pope and John Harkes playing in front of a crowd of 35,000 D.C. United fans for the first time.
