The second season of eMLS is nearly upon us and with that, an expanded roster of gamers has been revealed.

After 19 MLS teams were represented in the inaugural eMLS season last year, 22 of the league's 24 teams will be represented in the various eMLS events set to take place in 2019.

This includes defending eMLS Cup champ Kid M3mito (Guillermo Trevino) of the Houston Dynamo, who took the 2018 title by defeating Montreal's LyesMTL (Lyes Ould-Ramoul), who will also be returning for a second season.

In addition to their highly-anticipated debut on the field in MLS, FC Cincinnati will also be debuting in the gaming arena, having signed FCC Fiddle (Gordon Thornsberry) to represent them in their first year as an MLS club.

Cincinnati will be joined in their eMLS debut by Atlanta United, who will be represented by RatedHugo (Jose Hernandez), and D.C. United, who will be represented by Renatogz05 (Renato Zanelli).

The 2019 eMLS season will kick off in January with eMLS League Series One presented by PlayStation, to be hosted in conjunction with the LA Galaxy, followed by eMLS League Series 2, which will be hosted by FC Dallas in February. Both events will include participation from all eMLS professional FIFA players, with prizes awarded for performance in each series. Additionally, performance across the two eMLS League Series events will determine seeding for the 2019 eMLS Cup presented by PlayStation.
