New D.C. United signee Wayne Rooney will hold his introductory press conference this Monday, July 2 at the Newseum beginning at 1 PM ET.
Fans can stream the press conference live on dcunited.com and United's Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube channels starting at 1 PM. Fans may also watch the press conference live on the Newseum's 40' video screen in the atrium should they purchase a ticket to the museum.
The press conference itself is closed-door, and all attendees require a media credential to enter.
Rooney will be addressing the media for the first time since signing with the Black-and-Red last Thursday, June 28. The European Premier League and English national team icon will be eligible to make his Major League Soccer debut during the Audi Field inaugural match on July 14 following the summer transfer window's opening on July 10.
