On his overall thoughts of the match...

"It’s tough to get ahold of your thoughts after a match like that… it was a pretty wild one. It was always going to be a game about two halves. To be up a goal with a few minutes left and give up the fourth is a tough blow. But when we step out of the emotion of the game for a second, we came from Seattle two days ago and it hasn’t been an easy first half of the season in terms of travel. This was probably the most difficult portion of the journey so far and getting a point in Toronto against a good team is okay. Given the circumstances though, it hurts a little bit to not get more out of the game."


On if there are more positive or negatives to take from the game…

"There’s a little bit of both. There are moments where we need to understand that one point isn’t good enough if we’re going to get to where we need to be, and that’s the postseason. There have been some times this year where we’ve had teams on the ropes and we haven’t been able to capture all the points and that starts to add up. That’s something we need to learn as a group. We’ll find the right recipe of guys that can help us in some of these tough moments. Toronto is a good team and there were a lot of positives out there today though. When they throw numbers forward and [Sebastian] Giovinco starts to get on the ball they can take over the game. They’re a difficult team to hold off."


On capitalizing on their chances...

"We’ve been pretty efficient this year. When we do turn balls over we’ve been growing in confidence in our ability to be efficient with our chances. That was the case tonight. We could have had one or two more in the first half and they could have had one or two more in the second half. It was a wild night…"
