United head coach Ben Olsen
On your history coaching against New England…

"I’ve been battling with Jay [Heaps] since I was 16 years old. It’s always a lot of fun to go against him. They’re a very competitive team and today it was a very equal squad…there were lots of chances at both ends…but they made one more than we did. Congrats to New England for advancing."

Disappointment on getting knocked out…

"We’re not going to cry for too long about this. We’ve got a lot of work to do in the league and that starts up again in 2 days."

On his overall thoughts on the game…

"I thought for most of the first half, at least the first thirty minutes, we had the game under control. But we stopped moving for each other, we stopped connecting passes and they started to pick up steam before the half. We had to weather that storm…and we have to do better defensively…I’ll have to look back at their first goal. The second half was not a good enough start. They came down and got inside us and it was a good lesson for our defense. Sean’s only been back for a week and getting him a full 90 minutes was a positive and we’re looking forward to getting him back and in the mix."

United goalkeeper Travis Worra
On his overall thoughts on the game…

"It was a good, fast start. I think the goal we scored was a really brilliant play. We had some really brilliant passes, some very creative thoughts, a great final ball in and a great finish so that’s something positive we have going into the next game."

On looking towards Montreal on Saturday

"We got a fast start and we need to do that against Montreal, because that’s what they did to us back in May. No one has forgotten that they beat us a couple of months ago at home so we want to take it to them and get some revenge when we go out there."
