United battled Argentine giants Boca Juniors featuring Carlos Tevez and Guillermo Barros Schelotto to 0-0 draw on June 23, 2002. On June 21, 2003, Hristo Stoichkov scored his first goal for D.C. United in 1-1 draw vs New England Revolution. Three years later, Clyde Simms scored his first goal for the Black-and-Red in 1-0 over the Chicago Fire on June 21, 2006. U.S. Men's National team advance to the Gold Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 over Jamaica on June 19, 2011.
