United defender Maxim Tissot has been called up to the Canada Men's National Team by head coach Octavio Zambrano ahead of their international friendly against Scotland on March 22.
Tissot, 24, has 12 caps with the national team and made his international debut on Jan. 16, 2015 against Iceland. United acquired the left-sided defender on Feb. 24, 2017 on a free transfer.

Zambrano, who was hired on March 16 to oversee all levels of the Men's National Team from the under-14s and up, will coach his first game in charge against Scotland.
