On June 23, over 25 local athletes participated in try-outs for the D.C. United Special Olympics Unified Soccer Team. This year, the Unified Soccer Team will face off against the Columbus Crew Special Olympics Ohio and the New York Red Bulls Special Olympics New Jersey.
