When D.C. United face off against the Philadelphia Union on May 20 as part of Heineken Rivalry Week, it will mark the beginning of a new era.  For the first time, fans of the Black-and-Red and Union have the ability to choose the name of the season series between the two I-95 rivals.  Via a Twitter poll, fans can choose between the #I95CUP, #CAPITALCUP, #FREEDOMCUP or #COLONIALCUP. Voting concludes May 6.

Supporters will also have the chance to win two tickets to the match by submitting a match-poster that best exemplifies the rivalry. The poster contest will run through May 6-16, starting after the hashtag poll closes, with the winner being announced on May 17. Both clubs will select a winning poster, thus fans from both clubs will win tickets. The selected poster for United will be revealed at D.C. United's viewing party and receive two tickets to the August 6 matchup between the two clubs in the nation's capital.

The two teams have played 15 times in league play since the Union's inception into MLS in 2010.  The Black-and-Red hold the better record, winning seven matches, losing five and drawing three.  Union offseason acquisition Chris Pontius will play his former team for the first time on May 20 after seven years in Washington.
