D.C. United and the American Red Cross National Capitol Region will host a blood drive on Sunday, June 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at RFK Stadium, prior to United’s match against the New England Revolution.
In addition to helping save a life, blood drive participants will receive a “Buy One, Get One Free” ticket voucher good for any 2015 D.C. United Regular Season home match as well as a 5% off coupon to the D.C. United Team Store.

The blood drive will be D.C. United’s second drive of its 2015 D.C. United Drives program.  It will take place outside of RFK Stadium, at the Red Cross Bloodmobile which will be located in front of the ticket trailers between Gate A and Gate B.

To participate, it is best to schedule an appointment online, as appointments will be taken before walk-ins, however it is not necessary in order to donate. Donors can schedule an appointment byclicking here.
Walk-in appointments will be accepted on site from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
To give blood, donors must be in good general health and feeling well on the day of their donation, be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and not have donated blood in the past eight weeks (56 days) for whole blood or 112 days for double red cells.
To ensure the safety of blood donation for both donors and recipients, all blood donors will be evaluated to determine their eligibility to give blood. The final determination will be made on the day of the donation at the blood drive.
