D.C. United and Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic will partner together to make a 12-year-old boy’s wish come true. Jordan, an Arizona native, enjoys bowling with family, playing dodge ball with friends and most importantly playing and watching soccer. This young athlete strives to participate in these activities in spite of the limitations he faces from living with cystic fibrosis. When Jordan learned he was eligible for a wish from Make-A-Wish, he knew immediately what to choose – Jordan wished to meet his hero, soccer player Sean Franklin, at a D.C. United game.
Media are encouraged to participate and attend Jordan’s visit with Sean Franklin and the rest of the D.C. United team on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20. The list of events for Jordan’s stay is below. If you plan to attend please RSVP with TJ Scholl at email@example.com or (910) 389-1607.
