Congratulations Clyde Simms!

Clyde Simms entry into MLS was anything but ordinary. The defensive midfielder, who graduated from East Carolina University in 2003, went undrafted in the MLS SuperDraft. Simms joined the Richmond Kickers in 2004, and was called into the US National Team in 2005. The call-up would eventually shine a spotlight on the budding star, and in 2005 Simms signed with D.C. United.
