MLS Re-Entry Draft Stage 2

Bobby and Sean Stage 1

Ahead of Stage 2 of the 2013 MLS Re-Entry Draft, let's take a look back at how D.C. United did in the first stage, as well as the rules and regs for the second. With the first pick, we picked up former LA Galaxy defender Sean Franklin, a great one-v-one defender who consistently and effectively joins the attack. Then, we selected Bobby Boswell, who returns to the District after six years anchoring the back line in Houston. Another solid defender and someone who, along with newly acquired Davy Arnaud, brings great leadership and experience to the Black-and-Red.

This round, the rules are a little different. Franklin, Boswell and all other players selected by other clubs were picked up and signed at their previous season's salaries. In Stage 2, all contracts are negotiable. Once a club selects a player, it will have seven days to make and agree upon an offer. If a deal is not reached within the week, the club holds the right of first refusal for that player. Additionally, if a player is not selected, they are available to all teams.

Once again, we have the first pick. The draft begins at 3 p.m. ET. Click here for the entire order.

From this list, who do you want to see in Black-and-Red next season?
