D.C. United

& Chris Albright
Chris Albright played with D.C. United from 1999-2001, featuring in 56 games (39 starts). The defender notched four goals and two assists in three seasons with the Black-and-Red. Albright was a teammate of United Head Coach Ben Olsen at the University of Virginia (1997), as well as during his three-year stint with United.


& Brian Carroll

Sainey Nyassi and Chris Albright were teammates together for two seasons with the New England Revolution, after Albright was traded to the Revs on 1/18/08. Michael Farfan’s California State – Fullerton Titans and Chris Pontius’ University of California – Santa Barbara (UCSB) Gauchos met four times while the pair were at their respective universities, with Pontius’ UCSB Gauchos victorious on all four occasions. Pontius would score a game-winner in a 1-0 victory for UCSB in the last match between the schools.


& Michael Lahoud
Michael Lahoud’s Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Chris Pontius’ UCSB Gauchos squared off on 9/21/08, seeing a No. 1-ranked Wake Forest team thrash the 16th-ranked Gauchos 6-2. Pontius would tally from a free kick from the top of the 18-yard box.


James Riley

& Brian Carroll
Brian Carroll and James Riley were teammates at Wake Forest from 2001-03, Riley played in 42 games – scoring three goals and adding 12 assists – helping Carroll and the Demon Deacons culminate a 43-13-6 record in the three years the players attended Wake Forest together.
