Washington, D.C. (July 29, 2013) – Following a 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution over the weekend, D.C. United will host the Montreal Impact on Saturday, Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET for Bike Night, sponsored by Volkswagen, PeopleForBikes and Capital Bikeshare. Cyclists in the Washington, D.C. “As someone who takes advantage of biking around town, it’s great to see D.C. United host a special Bike Night,” said D.C. United midfielder/forward Chris Pontius. “DC is such a bike-friendly city, and we look forward to welcoming our fans on wheels this Saturday.”

Starting at 5 p.m., the first 50 fans to arrive on their bikes to the game will receive a free sideline ticket courtesy of Volkswagen. Tickets will be distributed at a booth in the Lot 8 Tailgate where the check-in for the event will be located. Secure bike racks will also be provided for all bicycles in Lot 8A.
