D.C. United Homegrown goalkeeper Bill Hamid has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week for Week 8, his sixth nomination already in 2013. In the 88th minute of the 3-2 loss against the Philadelphia Union on 4/21, Hamid made himself big and stopped a Keon Daniels shot right at the top of the six-yard box.
Hamid previously captured Save of the Week honors in Week 1 for his point-blank denial of the Houston Dynamo's Giles Barnes' shot.
