As an addition to D.C. United’s preseason preparation, the club has added a scrimmage versus Eastern Conference foe Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, February 20 at 6:00 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex in Deltona, Fla., and members of the public are invited to attend. In lieu of an admission fee, there will be a voluntary collection for a local charity.
This match is in addition to D.C. United's previously scheduled preseason friendlies and tournaments. The 2013 MLS Season kicks off on March 2, with United playing away at Houston. The Black-and-Red return to RFK on March 9 for the home opener against Real Salt Lake. Tickets are available online for March 9.
