D.C. United look-a-likes

Woolard - Statham

Ever find yourself sitting in the stands at RFK and had thefollowing thought cross your mind? Man, that D.C. United player sure looks like ...

Well we have, and so have the Black-and-Red themselves.  With a little inside information fromthe D.C. locker room, we bring you a few famous DCU look-a-likes:

Ever since Daniel Woolard arrived in D.C. early in 2011, comparisons to Jason Statham immediately surfaced. But unlike the English actor, Woolard doesn’t need guns or special effects to look tough.

Brandon McDonald may never have found himself on this list if not for a recent foray into the wild world of hair salons.  Whether or not you see the similarities between McDonald and Wesley Snipes, ‘Demolition Man’ is an appropriate nickname for United’s defensive rock.

Sorry Perry, but your own teammates did this to you. With how Kitchen fearlessly flings himself into the heart of the opposing attack, this could actually be considered flattering.

Thanks to a recent Facebook entry for this look-a-like. Lance Rozeboom as a young Kevin Bacon.

Hair can go a long way in the look-a-like game and certainly if we are talking about Nick DeLeon’s lengthy locks. Not to shabby for a rookie to be compared to one of the great playmakers in MLS history, eh?
