DYKSTRA ON FAMILIAR GROUND

Trialist Andrew Dykstra will perhaps be the most familiar with the city of Charleston, as the 26-year old goalkeeper spent 2011 playing for the Charleston Battery of the USL First Division. The Virginia Commenwealth alum made 17 total appearances for the Battery last year, putting together a goals-against average of 0.98 and a record of 8-6-2. His performance over the season was good enough to earn the club's Betsy McAdams Newcomer of the Year Award.

INJURY UPDATE

Trialists Alfredo Martins (IT band syndrome) and Seth C’deBaca (hamstring strain) were both held out of full practice today with injuries. They'll be further evaluated in the days ahead.
