On Wednesday,January 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET, D.C. United will officially begin the 2012 MajorLeague Soccer season with its first training session of the year. Taking placeat the Long Bridge Park facilities in Arlington, Va., United will train from11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. two days next week (January 18 and January 20). On Thursday,January 19, the team will conduct fitness training at the Greenbelt Sportsplexin Glendale, Md. from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Playersand coaches are available to the media each day onsite at these locations andupon return to RFK Stadium. Mediamembers are encouraged to coordinate access with United’s Media RelationsDepartment. Next week marks the onlytime that the Black-and-Red will train in the Metropolitan area beforedeparting for preseason training in Florida.
