This is going to be big

Marc Burch vs Landon Donovan - 2009

It’s a big couple of weeks for D.C. United and fans of the Black-and-Red. Important games. Heated rivals. The potential to save the season that once seemed lost and a coveted trophy still available for the taking.

We all know what is on the line, between the lines, where the players determine outcomes. It’s a big week for the rest of us, too.

Our passionate and committed supporters, the Screaming Eagles and La Barra Brava, are in the mix with offers to join them for upcoming games. If you’re a United fan and want to be a part of the action at RFK, this is a great way to do it ...

but not the only way. Beyond those groups, this is a great time for fans of the game to visit RFK Stadium. The World Cup has ended and soccer in the states has never been more popular. Throughout, United was involved with viewing parties, promotional programming, media appearances and advertising in attempts to grow our sport and our club’s following. We have a great product to share with new and casual soccer fans, the 2-game Test Drive Pack presented by Volkswagen and we encourage all who have celebrated soccer in the past month to join us for a game ... or, better yet, two.

Four games lie ahead. Important League fixtures, a Cup tie and an international friendly. These are all good opportunities to see the most successful club in the history of U.S. professional soccer. Let’s not forget, the team is improved of late, losing just once in the past six League games and eight overall competitions. There’s no better time to get behind the Black-and-Red.

See you at RFK Stadium.
