Wale is set to perform before United’s home opener on April 3, but today was a day of leisure for the DC hip-hop artist. Wale enjoyed the sun, while watching the Black-and-Red’s training session, and also kicked the ball around a bit, before meeting some of the team.
We were able to interview Wale on camera about a whole slew of things, so keep an eye out for that later this week.
Don’t forget to join us for the Wale concert on April 3 on the Armory Mall – the first performance of the ‘It Takes More Concert Series.’ Wale will go on stage at 6pm, but come early for food, beverages and fun.
