Please welcome Alex Caulfield into the D.C. United family. Alex has joined the front office as the club's Manager of Media Relations, and his is a name you'll be seeing around these parts much more frequently.
Alex previously served as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Seattle Wolves Football Club (PDL), and in 2009, he led the Wolves to the Media Department of the Year Award. He attended Kenyon College in Gambier, OH and is finishing up a Master's from Seattle University. He has also worked or had internships with the Cleveland Browns, New York Yankees and University of Washington Huskies. Originally from northern England, he's seemingly a fan of Leeds and Liverpool (and I'm not real sure how that news will be received in these parts) and his knowledge of world football is second-to-none in the office. He'll be a great addition to our staff and we're excited to have him on board for 2010 and beyond.
