The U.S. Men's National Team scored a goal in the last minute of play to earn a 2-2 draw versus Costa Rica at RFK Stadium last night. The U.S. had already qualified for the FIFA 2010 World Cup, but the draw meant the team finished atop CONCACAF's qualifying hexagonal for the second time in a row.
The result, coupled with Honduras' 1-0 win over El Salvador, also meant that Costa Rica must now play in a two-game playoff with Uruguay to advance to the World Cup, while Honduars is through automatically.
