Washington, D.C. (October 6, 2009) - As part of D.C. United’s continued efforts to make positive contributions to the local community, players will make appearances in the community this week. Rodney Wallace will be present at United Soccer Club’s launch at Long Branch Community Center on Tuesday, October 6, while Devon McTavish will help out with a Train with the Pros event on Wednesday. Ely Allen and Boyzzz Khumalo will kick off player visits to schools as part of the United Reads initiative when they visit Tubman Elementary School on Friday, October 9. Over the weekend several players will help with the grand opening of Pollo Campero in Laurel, MD. Full appearance information is detailed below.
