MLS game #25: DCU 1 - KC Wizards 0

United dodged a few bullets and came away with a very important three points tonight at RFK Stadium. Luciano Emilio's first half goal was enough, as United topped the visiting Wizards 1-0 in an Eastern Conference battle. Josh Wicks made several important stops and earned his third MLS shutout in four games.

With tonight's win, United is only four points back from the Houston Dynamo who lead the Supporters' Shield race. Not too shabby.

The team will regroup tomorrow and turn its attention to the Seattle Sounders FC. One has to assume the guys will be motivated to beat the team that stole the Open Cup trophy from RFK just a week ago. A big crowd is expected (20,000 or more?), so be sure to get your tickets soon.
