D.C. United individual game tickets now on sale

Washington, D.C. (March 6, 2009) – D.C. United announced today that single-game tickets for the first five United home matches at RFK Stadium are now on sale. Single-game tickets begin at $22 for seating in the Spectator section, are $30 at the Premium level, $40 at the VIP level, and are available at the Mezzanine level for $50. Single game tickets for the rest of the season will go on sale at a later date


Individual game tickets are available at all TicketMaster outlets, by calling in the District at (202) 397-SEAT, in Northern Virginia (202)-573-SEAT, in Baltimore at (410)-547-SEAT or outside the metro area at (800) 551-SEAT and via www.dcunited.com. In addition to individual ticket sales, group tickets are available in the standard seating sections from D.C. United at (202) 587-5000 or www.dcunited.com.


Tickets to the March 28 home opener are still available as part of a variety of ticket packages. The First Kick package includes four premium tickets to the home opener and a Ben Olsen autographed mini ball. Fans receive four tickets to the home opener and four passes to meet United’s rookies after the game with the Future Stars Pack. The Winter Warm-Up Pack is still available, with four tickets to the game and a D.C. United knit cap, scarf, and mittens.


Season ticket packages including full season, half season and flex ticket plans are still available at www.dcunited.com or by calling (202) 587-5000. Upscale seating for full season plans – either club section, private or semi-private boxes, or field level seating – is also available and includes premium services such as meal service, complimentary parking and VIP access. Youth discounted pricing remains an option for United full season, half season and flex ticket packages.


D.C. United kicks off its 2009 MLS season during First Kick weekend against the Los Angeles Galaxy in Carson, Calif. on Sunday, March 22. The home opener takes place the following weekend with Eastern Conference rivals Chicago Fire visiting RFK Stadium on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
