Stewart Mairs has been with D.C. United since 2016 starting out as the Director of Soccer Strategy and Analysis for the Black-and-Red. His main focus was on recruiting new talent for the club and oversaw advanced scouting and preparation for upcoming matches.
In early 2019, Mairs became the Technical Director of D.C. United who manages and oversees coach development along with assisting General Manager and VP of Soccer Operations, Dave Kasper.
Before arriving at D.C. United, Mairs worked for Prozone, a performance analysis and statistics company based in the UK, from 2004 to 2015. He has also worked as head of performance analysis for the U.S. Women’s National Team. During his time with the USWNT, he provided technical and tactical analysis of player and team strategy, ultimately helping the team to the 2015 World Cup championship as well as winning the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
