About the Program:

D.C. United's Academy has elevated the standard of player development. In partnership with the Calverton School, D.C. United's Academy will offer a five-day and seven-day residential program for domestic and international players, while also providing flexible academic schedules to local talent to allow for morning and afternoon training sessions. Located 25 miles outside of Washington, D.C., the campus boasts top residential facilities and four athletic playing fields. The program is in place to attract and nurture aspiring professional players.

Program Highlights:

Boarding Students (grades 9-12)

  • Players will be placed on D.C. United's Academy Teams (U14-U18)
  • Five-day or seven-day Residency Program at Calverton's One World Residential Village
  • Controlled environment that will promote an academic and athletic lifestyle of a developing professional.
  • Academic schedule to allow for AM and PM training sessions throughout the week.
  • A top education from The Calverton School
  • Professional soccer instruction from D.C. United's Academy staff

Day Students (grades 9-12)

  • Players will be placed on D.C. United's Academy Teams (U14-U18)

Financial aid: The Calverton School and D.C. United will offer financial aid for prospective student-athletes. All applications for financial aid will be reviewed by the school and club.
