ATHLETIC TRAINER

Teresse Rehwoldt, assumes the position as Athletic Trainer of D.C. United Academy. Previously she worked as the Athletic Training Intern at D.C. United (first team). She completed her Bachelor’s in Sports and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University, and her Master’s in Athletic Training from Florida International University. 

She has previously been a part of Athletic Training Clinical Rotation staff for the South Florida Rehab and Training Center, Florida International University Football team, and Miami F.C. where she evaluated and treated general population patients, facilitated athlete injury evaluation, created and executed treatment and rehabilitation for professional athletes, assisted in game day set-up, and prepared athletes for training and matches. 

A board-certified and licensed athletic trainer, she currently carries a LAT Virginia State License, is a NATA BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and is certified by the FIFA Medical Network, Stop the Bleed, and the American Red Cross. She also holds certifications in Cupping, IASTM and KT Taping from Rocktape and Covid-19 Tracing from John Hopkins University.
