Join D.C. United players, coaches and staff at the 2009 United Awards Reception on Tuesday, October 27 at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in NE DC.
Each recipient received a monetary award and an engraved Nittany Lion statue. The award winners also have his/her name engraved and placed on the 70-642 Eberly College of Science Staff Awards plaque which hangs outside of the Dean's Office in 517 Thomas.Staff were also honored for their years of service at Penn 70-646 State. The 25-year service award was presented to Barbara Freed, Beverly Hazard, Mary Anne Raymond, and Lisa Reiter. The 20-year service award was presented to Kenneth Barger, Bruce Bryerton, Dana Coval-Dinant, 70-647 Laurie Roan, Amy Stover, and Eileen Swales. The 15-year service award was presented to Jamie Corman, Connie Horner, Thomas Koch, Bronnie McLaughlin and Cathy Riemer. The 10-year service award was presented to Tasha Ermin, Robert Holden, Melissa Lachat, Doug Miller, Sandy Murray, Christine Onder, Jo Snyder, Timothy Treaster, and Tara Witherite. The 5-year service award was presented to Richard Burhans, Stephanie Gookin, Melissa Holobinko, Paul Lucas, Linda Price, and James Sinclair.Additionally, the 2009 United Way Coins for Caring winning department was announced. Coins for Caring is a program that raises funds for United Way services.
