Post-match quotes

Thoughts on the match:
“I thought that on the day [Real Salt Lake] were probably a better soccer team than we were, but we found a way.  It’s a tough place to come and sneak out a result.”

On the game’s two goals being scored via penalties:
“We hit two posts, but we couldn’t get it that way so I guess we went the penalty route to get the tie.  I think you can argue on both whether they were PK’s, but in the end they evened out.”

Yanks undefeated in 17 games vs. Reggae Boyz; here are the top 3
Best of USA-Jamaica

The US national team is preparing to square off against Jamaica for the 17th time on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the Gold Cup, and if history has any say, the Yanks should be just fine.

The USMNT is undefeated all-time against the Reggae Boyz, boasting an impressive 9-0-8 record. But while history may be on their side, this is certainly not the same Jamaica team Americans have traditionally tamed.
