Last Season Recap

United and the Revs met three times last season, twice at RFK Stadium after traveling to Gillette Stadium on the second week of the season on March 12, going 2-0-1.  In March, the Black-and-Red drew 0-0 against New England and Travis Worra made his first career MLS start.  The young goalkeeper also recorded his first career shutout. In game two (which occurred exactly a year ago), Luciano Acosta scored his first career goal in style, chipping the goalkeeper from outside the penalty area en route to a 3-0 victory.  The effort was eventually named MLS Goal of the Month. The final meeting, which took place on June 25, was another Black-and-Red victory, with Sean Franklin and Lamar Neagle getting on the scoresheet.
