Bobby Boswell surpasses 30,000 minutes played for his career

When Bobby Boswell takes the field for D.C. United on Saturday, he will become just the third player in MLS history to play 30,000 minutes. The Black-and-Red captain joins Steve Ralston and Kyle Beckerman as the only players ever to surpass 30,000 minutes in a career. Since those minutes amount to nearly three weeks of total time anchoring MLS backlines, here’s what you could accomplish in the same time span.

Fly to the moon and back three times.

Watch all 7 Star Wars movies back to back 32 times.

Drive around the equator roughly 1.2 times (driving consistently 60 mph) OR drive from RFK Stadium to BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston about 24 times.

Sing “The Star Spangled Banner” 15,000 times.

Run about 115 marathons at an average finisher’s pace.
