Montego Bay, Jamaica (Sept. 22, 2015) – D.C. United (3-0-1, 10 points) extended their unbeaten run in Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League group play by rallying from three goals down for a 3-3 draw with Montego Bay United at Catherine Hall Sports Complex.
The Black-and-Red trailed at halftime, 2-0, and gave up a third goal on a penalty kick in the 51st minute before coming from behind over the game’s final half hour.
Jairo Arrieta, Kofi Opare and Michael Farfan all scored as United completed its Group H schedule. Having already qualified for the 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, the team will await its final seeding following the completion of group play. Teams in the quarterfinals are seeded No. 1 – 8 based on points, with goal differential as the first tiebreaker.
