D.C. United and MLS WORKS are proud to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The effort is part of a league-wide “Soccer Kicks Cancer” initiative led by MLS WORKS, which aims to find a better cure for every child with cancer.

Though the initiative, D.C. United has partnered with
Special Love for Children with Cancer
to host a free soccer clinic for youth battling cancer or who have been affected by the disease. Youth will be treated to a fun day of soccer and train with D.C. United players. Kids participating in the clinic will also be invited to take part in a meet & greet experience with D.C. United players following the match against Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, Sept. 19.
