Post-Match Facts: D.C. United vs Philadelphia Union | May 30, 2015

WASHINGTON – D.C. United (7-3-4, 25 points) moved back to the top of the Major League Soccer standings with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Union (3-8-3, 12 points).


United extended its unbeaten streak at RFK Stadium to 19 straight games in all competitions – matching a franchise record – including 15 consecutive in league play dating back to June 2014.


Chris Pontius scored in first-half added time to tie the game, 1-1, after Sebastien Le Toux put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute. Chris Rolfe converted the game-winning goal in the 85th minute from the penalty spot after a handball on Zach Pfeffer.


D.C. United returns to action against the Chicago Fire on Wednesday, June 3 (CSN, 7).


D.C. United off the franchise’s best start since 2006, when the team was 8-1-5 (29 points) after 14 matches.

United has matched the club record by going unbeaten in 19 straight games in all competitions at RFK Stadium, including 15 straight in league play. The last loss came against Seattle in June 2014.


D.C. United came from behind for a 2-1 win for the second consecutive game at home.


D.C. United improved its record against Philadelphia to 6-5-3 overall, and 3-1-3 at RFK Stadium.


D.C. United improved to 3-3-1 in 2015 when conceding the first goal, and it improved to 5-1-1 when tied at halftime.


Chris Rolfe recorded his team-leading fourth goal of 2015, the 58th of his MLS career.


Chris Pontius scored his second goal of 2015, and the 30th of his career. He is now 7th all-time in club history. 


Taylor Kemp recorded his career-best and team-leading fourth assist of 2015.


Head Coach Ben Olsen’s overall record is now 56-67-39. He is 6-4-3 vs. Philadelphia.
