Goals: Maxwell DeBodene (2), Jair Sosa, Iker Bustamante, Asparuh Slavov
"The boys did a good job of letting the ball do the work as it was very hot throughout the entire match,” said U-13 Head Coach John Bello. “Once we wore down the opposing players gaps started to open up for us and the collective effort of the group to commit numbers forward into the final third was very good."
U-14: 7-2 win against PA Classics
Goals: Noah Nwosu (2), Alec Townsend, Steven Zeballos, Jordan Neal Matamoro-Mejias, Kyle Davis, Own Goal
“It was a strong performance with some good moments of possession and attacking movements,” said U14 Head Coach and Academy Director Nolan Sheldon.
U-15: 3-0 win against PA Classics
Goals: Jason Ferrufino, Noah Raphael, Andres Villanueva
“Great team effort all around.  The team once again controlled the tempo of the game through their dominance of possession.  Scoring opportunities came through our quick and immediate attack along with our quick movement off the ball which opened up channels for our players to exploit,” said D.C. United coach Jeff Carroll.  “As we move forward we will look to work on maintaining good vertical balance, beginning with the back line all the way to the front unit along with our technique to finish more scoring opportunities.”
U-16: 2-2 draw with PA Classics
Goals: Collin Jouan (2)
“In a match which started unfavorably by allowing an early goal, the group turned it around and went on to have a dominating performance for the majority of the match,” said U-16 Head Coach Jonathan Frias. “The boys couldn't manage the lead for the last couple of minutes and ended up conceding a late equalizer on a set piece.”
U-18: 0-2 loss against PA Classics
“It was an unfortunate result as the group deserved more since they had good possession and created numerous goal scoring opportunities,” said D.C. Academy coach Jonathan Frias. “In the end, it wasn't their day.”
