Statement from D.C. United General Manager and Vice President of Soccer Operations Dave Kasper on the retirement of Dwayne De Rosario:


“We would like to congratulate Dwayne on an outstanding career. We are proud that he was part of the Black-and-Red and grateful for the role that D.C. United played in his individual accomplishments and the many trophies he won, including his MLS MVP season in 2011, and the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He was a classy player who brought excitement with every touch. We wish him the best of luck.”
