A 12-time winner in the Liga Panamena de Futbol, Tauro FC has historically been one of the most dominant Panamanian teams in the league’s history. Though they have yet to make a deep push in the CONCACAF Champions Cup or League, the team has consistently made CONCACAF appearances, and will be United’s toughest test in the group stage. The team’s black and white jersey pays homage to Italian club Juventus, because the club’s founder, Italian Giancarlo Gronchi, was a fan of the Italian team.
