This morning, we sat down with D.C. United's newest midfielder, Alex Caskey for a quick, exclusive Q&A.
Since college, you played in the USL for the Charleston Battery then Seattle, now D.C., how has the journey been for you so far? What have you learned?
Alex Caskey: It’s been great, you know, each place you go you get new experience get to learn from different people different coaches. I think each place helped me develop in a different way and helped me reach the level that I’m at now.
What are you most excited about in coming to D.C.?
AC: Just for the opportunity to play for a great organization, you know, rich history. Just get after it with the guys, looking forward to a new season.
What are your goals for this season? Is there anything that you want to improve on?
AC: Just trying to be as consistent as possible, you know, throughout the year. And just keep playing at a high-level and just doing my best to contribute to the team.
Are you excited about playing with Eddie Johnson again?
AC: Yeah, it will be great playing with him again, and Jeff Parke too was on Seattle two years ago, so it will be good playing with those guys again.
