Jose Carranza called into U14 National Team camp

Jose Carranza, a member of the D.C. United Academy, was called into the U14 National Team camp in Carson, Calif. The Manassas, Va., native currently plays up on the Academy's U-16 team and is ranked as the second-best overall player in the Mid-Atlantic region by Top Drawer Soccer. Previously, the midfielder participated in April's U14 National Team camp at the Home Depot Center as well as the team's trip to Croatia in May, which included international friendlies against Slovenia and Croatia.


Organized by U14 head coach Hugo Perez, the current training camp will run from Aug. 17-25 and feature 31 players from the U14 national pool. For the full US Soccer press release, click here.
