On Wednesday night, advanced in Open Cup play over its I-95 rivals the Philadelphia Union. The victory propels the Black-and-Red to the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, which will be held on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Maryland SoccerPlex against the New England Revolution.
Dwayne De Rosario notched a hat trick last night to end the Black-and-Red's scoring draught. Two of the goals came unassisted, after individual effort on the midfielder's part.

The Canadian international joins an elite group of hat trick contributors in Open Cup matches. Raul Diaz Arce was the first DCU star to net three goals in a single Open Cup game back in 2000, and Abdul Thompson Conteh followed suite in 2001.
