Washington, D.C. (May 29, 2013) – D.C. United today announced that the club has waived midfielder Marcos Sánchez.
“We would like to thank Marcos for his time and efforts here with United,” said D.C. United General Manager Dave Kasper. “We wish him the best of luck in the future.”
Sánchez, a native of Panama City, Panama, joined United on Feb. 26 on loan from Tauro FC (Panama). The Panamanian international appeared in nine matches (six starts) for the Black-and-Red.
