As part of the landmark affiliation between D.C. United and the Richmond Kickers, homegrown star Michael Seaton has spent the past few months training with the Richmond-based USL side. Last night, in his first start for the Kickers, Seaton found himself on a breakaway late in the game. The 17 year old maintained composure on the play and slotted home his first professional goal.

Seaton's goal put the Kickers up 2-0 over Wilmington, the first goal coming from a second-half penalty kick. Andrew Dykstra and Conor Shanosky were also staples in the victory, as the keeper and defensive midfielder helped earn a shutout for the D.C. United affiliate.
