Free bus trip and match ticket available

UPDATE (11/2/12 - 11:00 PM) The busses and tickets are sold out. We are accepting names for a wait list in case fans cancel or we are able to add more busses or tickets.

D.C. United, in partnership with Major League Soccer and the New York Red Bulls, will be providing free busses and match tickets to United supporters for the team's second leg match versus the Red Bulls. Kickoff for the second leg of the two-game, total-goals series between D.C. and NY is set for 8pm ET on Wednesday, November 7.

"We knew alternating the game schedule was going to impact a lot of our most committed supporters, and providing a free bus trip and ticket became a top priority for us," said D.C. United President & CEO Kevin Payne. "We hope this will allow a significant number of supporters to make the mid-week trip to Red Bull Arena to create the best-possible atmosphere for the team."

The busses and tickets are being coordinated by the club's supporters groups. Spots on the bus and match tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To secure your spot, please email roadtrips@screaming-eagles.com.

Busses have pick-ups on Wednesday afternoon at RFK Stadium, in Arlington, New Carrollton and White Marsh. Full details are available on the Screaming Eagles Facebook event page

The club's away leg was originally scheduled to be held Saturday evening at Red Bull Arena, but was changed due to the impact of hurricane Sandy earlier this week.
