Indonesian U-21 striker Andik Vermansyah will join D.C. United for a training stint as a guest player beginning Monday, September 10. The popular and skillful youth international was introduced to the club through new investor Erick Thohir, an Indonesian media mogul. Vermansyah, 20, currently plays for Persebaya Surabaya in the Indonesian Premier League. ESPN Soccernet listed the attacker as one of ten Asian 'players to watch' earlier this year.
