D.C. United will face Real Salt Lake tomorrow, February 14 at 11:30 a.m. MST (1:30 p.m. ET) at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix, Ariz. Here are some team updates as the Black-and-Red prepare for their final preseason scrimmage.
American trialist Stefan Jerome has left preseason camp and is no longer with the team.
Former Kansas City player Jose Burciaga Jr. will remain as a guest player for United for the remainder of the Arizona camp. The left back scored United's lone goal during Saturday's scrimmage against Sporting KC.
United is expecting a second trialist from Brazil, though the player is still awaiting his visa papers. The same is the case for designated player Hamdi Salihi, whose P-1 visa has not yet been finalized.
D.C. United will return to DC on Thursday, February 16 and will remain in town until departing for Charleston, South Carolina on February 22nd, where the team is set to compete in the Carolina Cup Challenge.
